An AI receptionist that comes with the website
Every AI receptionist for small business is sold the same way: a monthly subscription, priced by the minute or the call, on top of the website you already pay for. On JustCopy the receptionist and the website are one thing. Her name is Rosa.

Front desk
Rosa answers customers about your hours, prices and services, and takes their orders and bookings, in the chat bubble on your site and in the thread on her page. She works from what your website says and never makes things up. Meet Rosa.
What an AI receptionist costs on its own
The category grew out of answering services. Most products give you a phone number, an AI voice that picks up, and a plan measured in minutes, calls or customers. Chat on your website, when it is offered at all, is a second feature on a higher plan. The website itself is never included; you bring one, and you keep paying for it somewhere else.
Three well-known ones, with the prices from their own pricing pages:
Goodcall
An AI phone agent. Answers calls, takes messages and bookings, unlimited minutes.
From $79 per agent a month, with 100 unique customers a month included and 50 cents for each customer beyond that (checked September 2026, from the public pricing page).
My AI Front Desk
Phone, chat and text in one plan, with a small CRM behind it.
$99 a month, or $79 a month billed yearly, for 200 voice minutes, 100 chatbot conversations and 400 text messages a month (checked September 2026, from the public pricing page).
Smith.ai
An answering service with AI-first and human-first receptionist plans, priced per call.
From $300 a month for 30 calls, then $11.50 a call over that (checked September 2026, from the public pricing page).
None of these is a bad product. If your business lives on the phone, one of them may be exactly right. But add the website bill, and a salon with a $30 a month site builder and a $79 a month receptionist is paying $109 a month before a single customer has booked, for two tools that have never met. The receptionist does not know the price list on the site until someone types it in again.
What Rosa does
Rosa is the front desk of a JustCopy site. When you hire her, she reads the site first: the hours, the menu or the price list, the services, the address. You add one note with the things only you know, such as that the kitchen closes at 9:30 or that groups over eight should call. That is her whole briefing, and it is written from your own words, never from a guess.
Then she answers. A visitor opens the “Ask us anything” bubble at 11pm and asks whether you are open Monday morning, and gets a plain answer from your posted hours in a second or two. If they want to order or book, she asks for a name, a phone number or email, what they want and when, and confirms it. If your site does not state a price or a policy, she does not make one up; she says she will check and offers your contact details instead.
Every conversation and every order she takes is on her page in your dashboard, with a line that says what she did today and what it cost. One switch, “Show on my website”, puts her on every page or takes her off. Change the site and she knows the new facts; add to her note any time.
She has a colleague. The Follow-up is the second hire, and every morning it writes to the people who asked but did not book, then tells you who needs a call. Together they cover the two things a good receptionist does: answer now, and chase later.
What it costs
Rosa and the Follow-up are included from the Professional plan at $49.99 a month. The same plan is the website plan: 25 AI builds a day, your site on your own domain without the JustCopy badge, up to five custom domains, unlimited text, colour and section changes. There is no second subscription for the receptionist and nothing per seat.
Each answer Rosa gives is metered at a fraction of a cent and shown on her page, so a slow week costs almost nothing and a busy one costs cents. As a safety ceiling, a business on Professional can spend up to $1 a day on its agents, and up to $3 a day on the Business plan at $99.99 a month. You never buy a bundle of minutes you do not use.
Below the Professional plan, the site is still yours to build and publish free, with no card. Rosa's hire card is there too, locked, with a sample of how she answers, so you can decide whether she earns the upgrade before you pay for it. The full plan list is on the pricing page.
What Rosa does not do
She does not answer the phone, and she does not send text messages. Rosa works in chat: the bubble on your site and the thread on her page. If most of your customers call and never visit your site, a phone product is still the right tool, and the honest comparison is not price but where your customers already are. For the ones on your website, the question they typed and the booking they wanted are handled without a second product.
Who she is for
Clinics
Patients ask the same things at 10pm: are you taking new patients, what does a first visit cost, do you take my insurance, when can I come in. Rosa answers from the site and collects a name, a phone number and a preferred time for the receptionist to confirm in the morning.
Salons and barbers
Prices by service, how long a colour takes, whether walk-ins are welcome, who does extensions. Rosa answers what the price list says and takes a booking request with the service, the stylist if they have one, and a time.
Restaurants
Hours, the menu, whether there is parking, gluten-free options, a table for eight on Saturday. Rosa answers from the menu on the site and takes the order or the reservation, then the Follow-up writes the next morning to the people who asked but did not book.
Trades
Plumbers, electricians and landscapers lose the jobs they cannot pick up for. Rosa tells a visitor what you do and where you work, takes the address and the problem, and puts the request where you will see it. What she cannot answer, she says she will check.
How to add her
- 1
Build the site
Describe the business in one sentence. The site is on screen in seconds, with your hours, prices and services on it.
- 2
Hire Rosa
Open Agents. Read what she will know, add the one note only you know, and hire her.
- 3
Show her on the site
Flip "Show on my website". An "Ask us anything" bubble appears on every page.
That is the whole setup. There is no script to write, no number to port and no minutes to pick. The receptionist knows the business because she read the site the business already has, and the site was built the same afternoon from one sentence.
Questions
How much does an AI receptionist cost for a small business?
Dedicated products run from about $49 to $300 a month at the entry level, priced by minutes, calls or customers, and the website is a separate bill. On JustCopy, Rosa is included from the Professional plan at $49.99 a month, and that plan also includes the website she works on. Each answer is metered at a fraction of a cent and shown on her page.
Does Rosa answer the phone?
No. Rosa answers in chat: in the bubble on your website and in the thread on her page in your dashboard. If most of your customers call rather than visit your site, you still need a phone product.
What does Rosa know about my business?
What your website says, plus the note you add when you hire her. She does not invent hours, prices or policies. When your site does not say, she tells the customer she will check and offers your contact details.
Can I see what she said?
Yes. Every conversation and every order or booking she takes is on her page in your dashboard, with what it cost that day.
Do I have to use JustCopy for the website?
Yes. Rosa is a part of a JustCopy site. She reads the site to learn the business, and the "Show on my website" switch puts her on every page of it.
Can I try her before I pay?
Building the site is free and needs no card. Rosa is unlocked when you move to the Professional plan; below it her hire card shows a sample answer so you can see how she speaks.
Build the site free. Add Rosa when you are ready.
One sentence becomes your website. Rosa answers your customers on it from the $49 plan.
